Toronto mayor Rob Ford has been hard at work trying to scrap the city’s long standing transit plan which would see an expanded light rail network. Calling the plan a “war on cars” the mayor put forth a new plan that would see all new transportation improvements buried underground. Yesterday his motion was defeated by council.
